Hazardous Waste Operation and Emergency Response

The HAZWOPER 40-Hour course provides participants with the training required to work safely in environments where hazardous substances, health hazards and safety hazards may be present. Designed to meet the requirements of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 for General Industry and OSHA 29 CFR 1926.65 for Construction, this course prepares employees to recognize workplace hazards and understand the practices and procedures necessary to perform hazardous waste operations safely.

Participants will receive comprehensive instruction on hazard recognition, exposure prevention, personal protective equipment, site safety practices and emergency response awareness. The course is intended for employees who may be exposed to hazardous substances during cleanup operations, hazardous waste management activities or other regulated work environments.
