HAZWOPER Annual 8-hour Refresher

The HAZWOPER 8-Hour Refresher course is designed for employees who have previously completed HAZWOPER training and are required to maintain their certification through annual refresher training. This course helps participants stay current on regulatory changes, industry best practices and emerging technologies related to hazardous materials response and hazardous waste operations.

Participants will review key HAZWOPER concepts while receiving updates on personal protective equipment (PPE), containment and control measures, detection and monitoring equipment, decontamination procedures and emergency response strategies. The course also covers changes to OSHA, EPA, DOT and other applicable regulations that may impact workplace safety and compliance.

Designed to meet annual refresher requirements under OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120, this training helps employees maintain the knowledge and awareness necessary to work safely in environments where hazardous substances may be present.
