Compass Cold Storage Facility Celebrates Grand Opening in Mulberry, Arkansas

Supporting construction safety from groundbreaking through project completion on a landmark cold storage facility.

The grand opening of the Compass Cold Storage facility marked an exciting milestone for Mulberry, Arkansas, and the surrounding region. As the first phase of Doug's Produce's vision to establish three cold storage facilities in the area, the project represents a significant investment in local agriculture, infrastructure and economic growth.

Throughout the construction process, SEA Inc. partnered with the project's prime contractor, TiCold, to provide ongoing construction safety services. Our team conducted weekly safety assessments, inspections and audits to help maintain a safe work environment while supporting compliance with industry standards and project safety requirements.

Safety was a priority from the beginning of construction through project completion. By working closely with TiCold, SEA Inc. helped identify potential hazards, evaluate jobsite conditions and provide practical recommendations to address safety concerns before they could impact the project. This proactive approach supported a strong safety culture and helped keep construction activities moving forward safely.

Led by Derek Jennings and Crockett Williams, the SEA Inc. team visited the site each week to monitor safety performance, document findings and work collaboratively with project leadership to implement corrective actions when needed. Through regular communication and ongoing oversight, the project maintained a consistent focus on protecting workers, contractors and everyone involved in the construction process.

SEA Inc. is proud to have contributed to the successful completion of the Compass Cold Storage facility and congratulates Doug's Produce, TiCold and all project partners on this important achievement. We appreciate the opportunity to support projects that strengthen local communities while demonstrating the value of proactive construction safety management.

As construction continues on future phases of the development, SEA Inc. remains committed to helping organizations build safer jobsites through professional safety consulting, inspections, training and onsite project support.
