SEA Senior Management Team Strengthens Skills at Weeklong Professional Development Retreat 2025

The SEA Senior Management Team gathered for a weeklong Professional Development Retreat from October 20–24, focused on strengthening leadership, collaboration, and innovation across the organization. The event brought together key leaders from all departments to share expertise, explore emerging technologies, and reinforce SEA’s commitment to continuous improvement.

  • A Week of Learning and Collaboration

Throughout the retreat, each team member led a professional development session in their area of expertise.

The agenda covered a wide range of topics designed to enhance both individual and team performance, including:

    • Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint tips and tricks
    • Process and efficiency workshops
    • AI innovations and practical applications
    • Marketing strategies and brand visibility
    • File organization and collaboration best practices
    • Accounting process improvements
    • Customer relations and service excellence

Each presentation encouraged open discussion and knowledge-sharing, giving participants practical tools to improve workflows and communication across SEA’s projects and departments.

  • Special Guest Speakers

The retreat also featured several distinguished guest speakers. Anthony Brazil, one of SEA’s respected retired senior leaders, made a special appearance to share wisdom gained over his decades of service. His reflections on leadership and mentorship were among the highlights of the week.

In addition, Micah Sardinha, SEA’s digital marketing guru, provided deep insights into the company’s digital and social media footprint, offering guidance on how SEA can continue to expand its online presence and engage audiences more effectively.

  • Team Building and Fun

Professional growth wasn’t the only focus of the retreat—team building and camaraderie were front and center as well. One of the most memorable activities was a challenging Escape Room experience, where the team’s investigative skills, communication, and problem-solving abilities were put to the test. Working together, they solved the puzzles and escaped with time to spare—a fitting metaphor for their teamwork and strategic thinking.

  • A Commitment to Continuous Improvement

The retreat reaffirmed SEA’s dedication to developing leaders who are not only technically skilled but also forward-thinking, adaptable, and collaborative. By investing in professional development and fostering cross-functional learning, SEA continues to position itself as an industry leader known for innovation, efficiency, and excellence.

Happy Halloween Booneville Human Development Girls!

Community in Action

Recently, a tornado caused significant damage in a community, leaving many people in need of assistance. SEA gratefully volunteered and stepped in to provide help in the form of packing home items for an individual. A group of lawyers from Wright, Lindsey, and Jennings has also joined in to lend a hand. It is heartening to see such acts of kindness during times of crisis. It is important to acknowledge the hard work of all the responders and volunteers who have come forward to make a difference. In particular, a special thank you goes out to TAG Church for providing food to both the victims and the volunteers. The generosity of these individuals and organizations is truly inspiring, and their actions remind us of the importance of coming together to support one another during times of need.

Happy Easter Booneville Human Development Girls!

SEA has recently adopted a group of special needs girls (seven to be exact) who are incredibly loving and caring but tend to get overlooked during the holidays. While SEA is unable to personally spend time with these girls due to legal and medical reasons, the organization is always ready with holiday gift baskets filled with treats, toys, movies, clothes, and other goodies. The gift baskets are a small way to show these girls that they are loved and appreciated and to bring some joy and cheer to their holiday season. SEA understands the importance of supporting and advocating for those who may be overlooked or marginalized in our communities and is proud to be making a positive impact in the lives of these special girls.
